Karmsund Servicebase is a member of the cluster Norwegian Offshore Wind. The goal for this cluster is to establish world leading supply chains within floating offshore wind.
Karmsund Servicebase has a lot to offer in the supply chain, especially with regards to the planned development of Utsira Nord. The Utsira Nord wind field is located off the coast of Rogaland and is earmarked for development with floating wind turbines.
