John Holme – Club representative

A little bit about you:

I am 48 years old and live in Karmsund together with my dog and partner. I have 2 sons and a stepson. I spend a lot of my free time restoring my old cabin, and I also like to go canoeing and on fishing trips.

What do you do at Karmsund Contracting?

I started working at Karmsund Contracting in 2018 within the field of logistics as a crane operator at both the Aibel and Aker Solutions’ industrial sites. I was elected as the club representative for our Union “Fellesforbundet”, in addition to being the on-site contact person and the employee representative for the Working Environment Committee (AMU).

What is the best thing about your job?

For me, working in logistics is very rewarding as it allows me to contribute to increased efficiencies and reduced costs all while protecting the working environment for the customer.

What do you like best about working for Karmsund Contracting?

Karmsund Contracting has a long tradition of hiring personnel. Their admin team is always available to answer any queries. As the union representative I would also like to praise the dialogue and interaction that the club has with Karmsund Contracting.
