WHO WE ARE
Karmsund Contracting supplies qualified personnel to the oil, gas and local maritime industries. Our office is located on Karmøy island, right outside Haugesund, on the west coast of Norway.
We have 100+ staff operating at our clients’ sites daily, all over the country.
We specialise in the following professions: industrial plumbers, welders, sheet metal workers, warehouse workers, riggers, truck drivers, BES guards, foremen, pressure testers, electrical steel/cable duct builders, wind technicians, industrial and motor mechanics, assemblers.
We can also provide other types of personnel on request.
Our company is approved by the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority and all our workers are members of a relevant trade union, receiving remuneration according to a collective agreement.

Karmsund Contracting in the community
Our company plays an important role in supplying personnel to large industrial sites in Norway, including shipyards, oil and gas installations and maritime production companies. We hire both well-educated and trained personnel, as well as personnel that lack the necessary qualifications.
We look for employees who have a willingness to work hard and learn on the job and we encourage job seekers to contact us. We provide the relevant courses, with a focus on skills enhancement. Many of our skilled workers and foremen, who started their career with us, are now valuable and trusted members of our team.
As a staffing agency we fill the role of recruiting and training both skilled and unskilled workers to service the needs of our clients in the maritime industry.
Our company supports activities for children and youths by being a sponsor of local sports teams.
